My mom and I really liked this. Used kielbasa, potatoes, 1/3 the recommended onion, and added carrots. The instructions were good but after a day we felt the stew was too thick so we added stock.

I added a chopped sauteed shallot and some pieces of sausage, and I cooked it in milk instead of water. This extra version was quite good! It makes about 3 servings. Tip: serve with Czech onion rings!
