Gingerbread Mix. The first mention of gingerbread in Czechia is from the 1300s, and it supposedly had more than 90 different rare herbs and spices, with every baker having their own secret recipe. This homemade dry gingerbread mix will be much tastier for having been made by hand, right at home. The mix results in a lightly spiced cake, not at all overpowering like many gingerbreads, that is moist. To elevate it, sprinkle some powdered sugar on top when it’s warm, and watch it soak straight into the cake!
